Computer Room

Technological development has advanced very rapidly. In today’s world, communication equipment and computers have become an essential part in the student daily lives, to assist and ease them in carrying out their day to day work. The school foresees the importance and the need to have a quality computer room and therefore, have installed a very modern and up to date computer system and programs with sufficient number of stations to serve all the students in the set up.

Student Learning Center

Kindergarten students need development in all aspects through the process of playing. The Student Learning Center is considered as an additional avenue that can provide them with the ability to think creatively, stimulate them to learn as well as motivate them to seek more knowledge while allowing them to solve problems hands on. They will learn to think rationally, stay happy and enjoy learning.

Security System

The school gives full attention to provide high quality security standard for the students. The school buildings’ layout has been designed for specific purposes with safety walkway connecting all classrooms. It has installed electrical security door system, fire warning system and fire extinguishers, closed circuit cameras all around school compound including the application of student electrical ID card for the purpose of screening all students leaving the school area.

Football Fields

In all of our campuses, we provide football fields for our students to exercise and play football with their friends. Football helps our students develop agility, speed and stamina, and also teaches them the importance of teamwork. Football also requires students to be fit and firm throughout the games. Most games require students to sprint after the ball and jog up and down the field, which are activities that build endurance and speed.

Swimming Pools

At Beaconhouse Yamsaard Schools, swimming is one of the most important sports for our students. This is why we are offering swimming pools in all campuses. Swimming can help students build confidence, master a fun activity for both play and sport, and learn safety in the water, which can be lifesaving. Moreover, swimming can give students an intellectual and developmental boost as well.

Gymnasiums

Students at Beaconhouse Yamsaard Schools have well-taught stimulating classes in the gymnasium, they learned valuable physical skills, set a pattern for lifelong fitness and grew socially from their experiences. Our gym classes provide students with physical exercise on a consistent basis. It is particularly important for the physical well being of students who do not engage in physical activities outside of school.

School Canteen

The school provides hygienic canteen, good air circulation with clean and sturdy tables and chairs according to the Health Department Standard requirements.

Science Room

We believe that the teaching of Science offers students the ability to access a wealth of knowledge and information that will contribute to an overall understanding of how and why things work like they do. In our Science Rooms, students are able to use this knowledge to understand new concepts, make well-informed decisions and pursue new interests.

Library

At Beaconhouse Yamsaard Schools, our libraries support school programmes as well as the teaching and learning process. Our libraries serve students by providing materials to meet their various needs and encouraging reading and the use of libraries. Our students read to discover for themselves by independent study and learning how to ask questions.

Tae Kwan Do

One of the main benefits of taekwondo is improving a student’s strength and balance. Also, learning the patterns and sequences of taekwondo requires concentration and attention, and sparring requires focus on both one’s self and one’s opponent. As students dedicate themselves to a goal in taekwondo, they gain confidence as they observe their own progress and increasing mastery. This self-confidence can then be carried over into other areas of students’ life.

Ballet offers a greater range of motion, coordination, endurance and strength than most other physical activities. Ballet lessons improve posture, flexibility, coordination, strength and grace. At Beaconhouse Yamsaard Schools, we use the program called Math Whizz along with the regular math classes to improve students’ confidence and ability in math. Math Whizz is an online virtual math tutor for students that cater to their unique ability – helping them reach their true potential and preparing them for success in school. It is also the multi-award-winning, industry leading online math tutor.

  • Technology Integration
    At BYS Hua Hin, we believe in using technology integration in the classroom. In the 21st century, the function of classrooms and learning need to be adapted and altered to mesh with what students bring to classrooms. This is why our school has provided the iPad Integration Programme which students use iPads in their core classes such as English, Science, and Math. This is to enhance and engage students in their learning processes.
  • Security System
    Our security system enables education in calm, safe conditions, where students can learn and teachers can teach with minimal disruption. BYS Hua Hin has installed and provided alarm and CCTV systems. During school hours, we provide continuous on-site monitoring and recording through each camera, creating a fully secure environment.

  • Transportation
    BYS Hua Hin provides bus service to students. In every school bus, there are one teacher and one driver monitoring the students carefully. Every school bus is equipped with a GPS system that allows us to locate the school bus in real-time. Parents can trust in our service’s safety and punctuality.
  • Health Check-Up
    Students at BYS Hua Hin will get a full health check-up once a year by doctors and nurses.
  • Scholarship
    Our principal likes to see her students succeed in their academic careers. Therefore, she offers academic scholarships for students who get 85 percent of scores on midterms and finals. 5,000 baht will be given to students who score 85 percent on midterms and finals of five subjects, and 2,000 baht will be given to students who score 85 percent on midterms and finals in one subject.
  • Student Insurance
    BYS Hua Hin provides general health insurance for every student on campus. Our insurance provider is Siam City Insurance, which covers from basic injuries to accidental death.

Entry Requirements and Placement

    BYIS accepts students of all nationalities. We evaluate each applicant to determine acceptance and appropriate placement. Previous school records are reviewed and considered in determining placement, so that students are placed at their appropriate instructional level.

    Students are invited to visit and spend some time exploring the school environment and getting to know our experienced staff. On the strength of this visit and the earlier visit with the Principal, places are then offered and acceptance invited.

    Although the majority of our students are fluent in English, some students are accepted into the school with very little or no English. Our English support teaching ensures that non-English speakers are readily integrated into the classroom learning environment.


Registration
Parents and guardians of new pupils are required to complete and submit these documents:

Registration Form: To be completed by the parent or guardian.
Photographs: Three recent passport photographs of student.
Photographs of parents who are taking care of the student.
Student’s Birth Certificate: One copy of student’s birth certificate
House Registration Documents: One copy of student’s house registration (only Thai students)
Parents’ ID Card: Copies of parents’ Thai national ID cards (Thai students)
Copies of parents' passports (Foreign students)
Recent School Records: Copies of transfer records from previous school(s)
Health Form: Including detailed information related to allergies, medication and dates of vaccinations.

NOTE: All new students must undergo a basic health/medical check before they start school.
